First time I saw Flirt’s video projections was at 2015’s edition of the Dutch festival Milkshake, during a colorful summer noon being fully enlightened by her projections at the darkness of the Westergasfabriek area in Amsterdam.

VJ Flirt aka Fleur van der Spruit has made into a sweet spot as a video jockey in the dance music scene and, much has changed since that time I saw her perform. She started her way in the VJing world after a friend’s recommendation for a course, both Media students back then. From that moment on she knew she was on the right place to immerse herself into lights, projections, and all vibrations of vivid nightlife in Amsterdam.

Long days, long nights, sleeping in clubs, eating junk-food on train stations, sleepless... VJ Flirt performed several of the most popular local venues, including Melkweg and Sugar Factory, a long way of hard work and effort for her to get where she is now.

Just to make it clear, Fleur finished her studies and won a contest in which she got the opportunity to perform during one of the most popular student’s parties in town. Guess where? At the Dutch Pop temple Paradiso. Owner of a characteristic style, consumed by vibrant colors and feeling for rhythm, soon several

invitations to perform in all corners of the country started to appear. Including conferences, student parties and museums started to. Yep, she performed at the Van Gogh Museum.

Gigs in Belgium, Romania, Denmark, Italy, Germany and big festivals such as The Flying Dutchman and Amsterdam Dance Event. The world is just a small place and not enough for this young lady. Now officially crew member of the Top Dj duo Lucas & Steve, her next steps include nothing less than partying.
